Book Exchange Information

On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, we have scheduled a Used Book Exchange after school from 3:45-4:30 p.m.  We know how costly buying new textbooks for school can be; therefore, we have planned a book exchange day to help you any way we can.

Teachers for grades 1-5 will be in their classrooms and grades 6-12 will be available in the Fellowship Hall to help you obtain used books.  The book exchange gives parents the opportunity to buy and sell used books.

If you would like to sell your child’s used books from this year, bring them during this time to meet with parents who would like to purchase them.  If you are looking for used books this is a great opportunity for them to be available to you.

If you are not interested in selling your used textbooks and do not want to keep them, you can donate them to the classroom for children to borrow each year.  If you would like to help in this way, please see your child’s teacher as soon as possible.

ALL USED BOOKS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE TEACHER.  The teachers will be available that day to approve books as you purchase them.  Please bring your child’s book list so the teacher can initial beside all approved used books you have purchased so you will not be charged for them when ordering new books.

Used books being used for next year in all grades, elementary and secondary, will need to stay at the school for the summer.  When school begins, the used books will be given to your child.

If your child is in the first grade this year, please let Mrs. Pennington or Mrs. Bowles know if your child will be using the same Primary Bible Reader and Handbook for Reading next year or if you will be purchasing a new one.  If your child’s book is in good condition using it next year is advisable.
