IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please remember that if your child has a fever, they must be fever free for 48 hours, without the use of medication, before they are allowed to return to school.

FRESH FRUIT SALE: The order forms, along with the money, must be returned to school by Monday, November 9th. We will let you know as soon as possible if we have enough orders (150) so that the company will ship fruit to us.

NO SCHOOL – WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2020 – VETERAN’S DAY

SPELLING BEE – THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12 – The Spelling Bee is sponsored by the National Honor Society, and 15 of our Mountain View students will be participating. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the spelling bee will be closed to everyone except school personnel. We will post the results of this event in the school newsletter that will be sent home on Friday, Nov. 13th.

GAME-A-THON (GRADES 7-12) – SPONSORED BY THE STUDENT COUNCIL – NOVEMBER 13TH – This is a fundraiser to provide Christmas presents for the children at Presley Ridge Children’s Home. If a student gets a $50 sponsorship they may participate for the entire morning or $10 for each period. They will be playing various types of games. If you would like to sponsor one of our students in this very worthy cause, please call the school office.

REPORT CARDS – NOVEMBER 17, 2020

THANKSGIVING BREAK – We will have school a full day on Monday, November 23rd, and a noon dismissal on Tuesday, November 24th. Our break will begin on Wednesday, November 25th. School will resume on Monday, November 30th. NO AFTERNOON EXTENDED CARE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24TH.
