I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with

my eye upon you. – Psalm 32:8

We hope you had a wonderful summer and are excited to get back to school.  We are happy to see everyone, and we especially want to extend a warm welcome to our new students and parents who have joined our Mountain View family.  We know you will find that Mountain View is a friendly place, as well as a great school.

On Monday, August 13th, we began our 38th year of Christian education, and God has truly blessed our efforts.  We want to praise Him for His many blessings!

NO SCHOOL – MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 – LABOR DAY

TUITION PAYMENTS:  Tuition is due on the 10th of each month.  A late fee of $5  will be added after the 15th, and $10 after the 20th.  After tuition is one month past due, the students will not be allowed to attend class until the account is brought up to date.

SCHOOL PARKING LOT:  As you enter and exit the parking lot, please drive very slowly.  Stay to your right as you enter and follow the arrows.  Please do not park beside the walkway at the entrance to the school.  Thank you for helping us so that we can have smooth and safe arrivals and dismissals.

SCHOOL PICTURES – FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 – FALL INDIVIDUAL PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN ON THIS DATE – MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW SOON.

MORNING ARRIVAL AND SAFETY:  The safety of your children is of the utmost importance to us.  Two of our teachers are on duty in the fellowship hall in the mornings beginning at 8:00 a.m. Please do not disturb the teachers during this time.  They will be focusing on the children and their needs; therefore, if you need to speak with one of the teachers please go to the office and/or call the office to schedule an appointment to meet with the teacher.

Also, due to safety issues, we must have the entryway and the hallway to the school clear at all times.  When you drop your children off in the mornings, please leave them in the fellowship hall and then clear the hallway.  If the hallway is congested, it is hard for other people to get in and out of the areas they need to be in.  Thank you in advance for your attention concerning these matters.

MVCS DRESS CODE:  Thank you for your help in assuring that your children closely adhere to our dress code.  Please refer to your Student Handbook for the complete dress code.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION – Please continue to collect box tops. This helps us to purchase items needed for our school.  Send them to your child’s teacher and make sure to write your child’s name and grade on the back of each box top.  Visit the ox Tops website at www.boxtops4education.com for participating products.

Thank you for caring enough to provide a Christian education for your children.  We realize this is a sacrifice for your family financially, but we know the benefits are far greater.  Not only do your children receive excellent academic training but also direction in building a successful Christian life.  We are privileged to minister to your children at MVCS.  We commit to you that every day prayers are offered for your children.

Great shall be the peace of thy children.  -Isaiah 54:13
