SENIOR GRADUATION

THE MOUNTAIN VIEW CHRISTIAN SCHOOL CLASS OF 2018 IS AS FOLLOWS:

KAELEA DAWN SMITH, VALEDICTORIAN

Daughter of Raymond & Lynnette Smith of Scarbro

The commencement for our graduating senior is this evening at 6:00 p.m.  Mr. Brian Ball will be the speaker for this service. All Mountain View families are cordially invited and encouraged to attend. Please pray for our senior as she embarks on one of the greatest adventures of her life.  We are so proud Kaelea. She has worked very hard to attain her goals.

ELEMENTARY AWARDS ASSEMBLY – TUESDAY, MAY 22 – 1:30 P.M. – Each student’s relatives and friends are invited to attend.

EXTENDED CARE:  For the students who utilize this program, you will receive your final statement on or about May 18th. These and other extended care charges that have not been paid will be due upon receipt so that we can close out the books for the end of the school year.

TUITION REMINDER FROM THE OFFICE –  Please take care of any balances that are due on your child’s account. All accounts must be paid in full before the final report card will be sent and/or any records released.  Contact Mrs. Calvert if you have questions or concerns.

MOUNTAIN VIEW CHRISTIAN SCHOOL GYM:  The gym will be closed for the months of June and July, 2018 for repairs.  Please make note of this if you had any practices, parties, etc. planned for these months.

BOX TOP NEWS

Thank you for supporting Mountain View Christian School.  The box tops collected will help us with purchasing school equipment, supplies, etc. Many thanks to Ms. Teresa DeLano for organizing this project.  Our goal this year was $1,000.  We exceeded our goal and made $1,038. Thank you again!

YOU DID A FANTASTIC JOB!

Continue to save the box tops and Campbell’s labels during the summer to win prizes for next year.  Get everyone’s help. Teachers, parents, grandparents, and friends can all help you to collect box tops!

YEARBOOK ORDERS:  PLACE YOUR ORDER NOW FOR THE 2017-2018 YEARBOOK. The cost of $25. You can send the order form with the amount attached to your child’s teacher.  Orders will be taken until the last day of school.  The yearbooks will be delivered to MVCS in the fall.

BOOK EXCHANGE – WEDNESDAY, MAY 23 FROM 3:45 – 4:30 P.M. – FOR ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY STUDENTS – Teachers in grades 1-12 will be available on this day to approve books that you may want to buy, sell, and/or exchange with other parents for the coming school term.  A detailed letter concerning this event is being sent home today.

BOOK FEES FOR 2018-2019:  These fees are due in full by May 24th  Books will not be ordered until they are paid in full.

FINAL DAY OF SCHOOL – MAY 24, 2018 – NOON DISMISSAL – NO EXTENDED CARE

I would like to thank all of you for the privilege of being a part of your child’s education and life this year.  I pray that everyone will have a wonderful summer.  You are a great group of parents to work with, and I look forward to working with all of you again next year!
