NOVEMBER ELEMENTARY CHAPEL SCHEDULE:

Friday, November 22              9 a.m.     Thanksgiving Chapel

Monday, November 25           9 a.m.      Speaker to Be Announced

 

THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON: Please don’t forget to have your child bring in the item that their class was supposed to donate toward our luncheon scheduled for Friday, November 22nd.  Please have everything but the desserts brought to the school by Wednesday, November 20th.  Desserts should be brought to the school by Friday morning, November 22nd.

THANKSGIVING BREAK – We will have school a full day on Monday, November 25th, and a noon dismissal on Tuesday, November 26th.  Our Thanksgiving break will begin on Wednesday, November 27th.  School will resume on Monday, December 2nd.

TUITION PAYMENTS – Tuition is due the 10th of each month.  Failure to pay after the tuition is one month past due will result in the student not being allowed to attend class until the account is brought up to date.  If you experience a problem taking care of your account, please contact Mrs. Calvert in the office.

SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR VETERAN’S DAY SPEAKER, DAN HOLSTEIN. We never want to forget how blessed we are to have our veterans who fought and are still fighting for our freedom.

LUNCH MENUS:  Menus for December and January are being sent home today, November 15th.  Both menus are being sent home at one due to the food orders being placed for the holidays.  The December and January menus, with the amount due, must be returned to the school by Wednesday, November 20th.

December 2nd – Bring your favorite Christmas stuffed animal

December 3rd – Wear your favorite Christmas shirt

December 4th – “Wise Men Bearing Gifts” – Bring a canned or boxed food item or body wash for food pantry and homeless shelter

December 5th – “O Come Let Us Adore Him” Dress like an angel or shepherd

December 6th – BREAKFAST WITH SANTA

December 9th – 9:00 a.m. – PRE-SCHOOL/ELEMENTARY CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

December 10th – Wear a Christmas hat, headband, or socks/6:00 p.m. ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

December 11th – CHOIR CONCERT 2:30 P.M.

December 12th – Wear an ugly Christmas sweater

December 13th – Dress like a character from Whoville “The Grinch”

December 16th – Wear your Christmas Pajamas

December 17th – CLASS PARTIES – NOON DISMISSAL

PRESCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM – MONDAY, DECEMBER 9TH AT 9:00 A.M. THE ELEMENTARY PROGRAM WILL IMMEDIATELY FOLLOW.

ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS:  MONDAY, DECEMBER 9TH AT 9:00 A.M. AND TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10TH AT 6:00 P.M.  BOTH PERFORMANCES ARE THE SAME PROGRAM; THEY ARE JUST SCHEDULED FOR DIFFERENT DAYS AND TIMES FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.  YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS WONDERFUL PROGRAM!

MVCS CHOIR CHRISTMAS CONCERT – WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12 AT 2:30 P.M.  EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME AND ENJOY THIS GREAT ANOINTED CHOIR.

FOOD FOR ANGELS:  This program is part of One Voice in Beckley.  They provide food items for families and children.  A different item is collected to be distributed every month.  This month the item is peanut butter crackers and/or cheese crackers.

Our National Honor Society would like to help with this project.  We will be letting you know what item is to be collected each month.  For this month would you have your child bring a package of the single serve cereal to their classroom by November 25th.  We will make sure it gets to the proper people in order to be distributed.  Thank you in advance for having a generous heart and serving others in need.
