The Fall Festival is scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2019, from 6 – 8 p.m. in our gym.  PLEASE SEE OCTOBER 4TH NEWSLETTER FOR ALL INFORMATION CONCERNING THE FESTIVAL.

REPORT CARDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2019

SEPTEMBER BOX TOPS WINNERS:  Alex Burford – Gr.7 – 600 Box Tops/  Allie Thompson K-5 – 80 Box Tops

The winners each month will be the boy with the most box tops collected and the girl with the most box tops collected.  Congratulations to our September winners!

Please turn in all 2019 box tops by October 27th.  Also, continue turning in all other box tops.

FALL MAKE-UP PICTURE DAY – If your child was absent on picture day, the make-up date is Friday, November 1st.

CONGRATULATIONS TO EACH OF OUR SPELLING BEE WINNERS!

The Fayette County Elementary Spelling Bee (4th Grade Only) and the official Fayette County Spelling Bee (Grades 4-8) will be held at the Lewis Community Center on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.  Two representatives from this school will compete at each county bee.

BAKE SALE – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18TH – SPONSORED BY THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

The Bake Sale will be available during all lunch periods.  There will be a variety of baked goods available.  The cost of the items will be from 50 cents to $1.00 each.

FOOD FOR ANGELS – This program is part of One Voice in Beckley.  They provide food for families and children.  A different item is collected to be distributed every month.  This month the item is the individual single serve cereals.

Our National Honor Society would like to help with this much needed project.  We will be letting you know what the itemto be collected is each month.  For this month, if possible, would you have your child bring a package of the single serve cereal to their classroom by October 31st.  We will make sure that it gets to the proper people in order to be distributed.  Thank you in advance for having a generous heart and serving others in need.
