Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the
nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10
COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER INFORMATION – The Cookie Dough Fundraiser was a great success! The sales totaled over $13,000, and we profited over $6,000. Thank you very much for all the support you gave to this very vital fundraiser.
We want to thank Mrs. Tammy Calvert for being the chairperson for this fundraiser. She did a great job, and it is very evident with the success we had with this huge project.
The Elementary students met their goal; therefore, all students in preschool through sixth grade will be able to participate in a “Cookie Dough Celebration” on Friday, November 2nd. In the celebration all the children will be able to wear their pajamas to school that day. They will have a movie and refreshments provided.
SCHOOL PICTURE MAKE-UP DAY – FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND.
NOON DISMISSAL ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2018 FOR COOKIE DOUGH DISTRIBUTION. This will enable you to distribute the cookie dough/coffee orders that your child sold. NO AFTERNOON EXTENDED CARE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THIS DATE.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF CHANGE IN NOVEMBER MENU: The menu will change for November 16th. We would like to have a Thanksgiving celebration for all to enjoy free of charge. The original menu was pizza bites, salad, and fruit cup. The revised menu will include ham, roll, sweet potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce.
If you have already ordered for November 16th, your December menu will be credited for that amount. If your child does not like the revised menu items, please pack their lunch that day.
TAKE OUT MEAL AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH – Since classes will have been on field trips and not able to take advantage of Mr. Tolman’s “Famous Spaghetti” on October 26th, this dinner will be offered again on Friday, November 6th.
TAKE OUT MEAL WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH – Chili, crackers, cheese toast, and dessert.
FALL FESTIVAL 2018
Much appreciation goes to the parents, teachers, friends, family, faculty, and staff for making this year’s event such a success. The donations of crafts, baked goods, food, monetary contributions, etc., that came from parents, grandparents, and area businesses were a great blessing!
SPECIAL THANKS TO MRS. PENNINGTON AND MRS. HILL for acting as chairpersons for this event. Their offering of time, effort, and talent was invaluable. Also, thanks to the teachers who sponsor clubs and organizations within the school. Our secondary students did a wonderful job in helping with the festival from beginning to end!
