What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

ANNUAL COOKIE DOUGH SALE: The Cookie Dough, Coffee, and popcorn order forms and an attached letter explaining all of the details of our “best” fundraiser are being sent home with your child today. Your completed orders must be turned in to your child’s teacher by MONDAY, OCTOBER 17TH.. The orders will be ready to be picked up at the school on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10. Any student selling 12 or more items can be dismissed at noon on this day in order to deliver items they sold. If every student will sell just twelve containers of cookie dough, we will meet our goal! So sell, sell, sell! We only have a few days left to accomplish our GOAL!
TUITION REMINDER: Tuition is due on the 10th of each month. A late fee of $5.00 will be added after the 15th, and $10.00 after the 20th. After tuition is one month past due, the student will not be allowed to attend class until the account is brought up to date.
IMPORTANT THANKSGIVING BREAK INFORMATION: The school calendar states that for our Thanksgiving break, we would be in school all day on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST, and would be dismissed at noon on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22. THIS SCHEDULE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO REMOTE INSTRUCTION.
According to which grade your child is in, he/she will either receive a packet of work to be completed and/or receive an invitation to Zoom. Either way, your child will be responsible for the work to be completed when returning to school on Monday, November 28th.
Your child’s teacher will contact you as to which form of remote instruction they will receive.

MOUNTAIN VIEW CHRISTIAN SCHOOL MENTORING PROGRAM
October is National Anti-Bullying Month. We will be having a combined chapel on Wednesday, October 12th, for bullying prevention. After the chapel, we would like to implement a new mentoring program at our school. This program will promote positive encouragement, self esteem, and confidence for our students. The secondary students will be mentoring the younger students at the school. We will include different activities they can do together during the year, such as prayer requests (every room will have a buddy prayer box or note box), lunch time together, cookie-decorating together at Thanksgiving, and much more. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Adkins or Mrs. Ball.
Parental permission forms will be sent home. Please return forms Monday, October 10th, to your child’s teacher.
LOADS OF LOVE: Any time this school year that we have a combined chapel with elementary and secondary students together, we will be proving the Church of God New River Ranch Children’s Home will laundry supplies. There will be a combined chapel on Wednesday, October 12th at 9:00 a.m. Thank you in advance for any help you can give. It will be greatly appreciated.
Laundry baskets will be in the Sanctuary for students to place their supplies. Some examples are: laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, laundry booster, stain remover.

I Corinthians 10:13 exhorts us to do all we do for the glory of God. Mountain View Christian School is blessed to have faculty and staff who certainly follow that concept. Many sacrifices are made by our teachers to fulfill a call they believe is from God. With joy and thanksgiving for each child, they labor diligently each day to express the love of God and to make an imprint that will never fade in the lives of your sons and daughters. Please pray daily for God’s provision and anointing on their lives.
