ANNOUNCEMENTS:

COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER – BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! 

Your child has received the information concerning this fundraiser today.  There are some great prizes for your child to strive for this year! Please read carefully all the instructions and return your child’s completed order form, with the amount attached, by Monday, October 7th.  You will receive your orders on Friday, November 8th, just in time for the holiday baking season! If you have any questions, please contact the office.

SEE YOU AT THE POLE:  This is an annual gathering of thousands of Christian students around the flagpole at their school. It is a time of student-led prayer, scripture reading, and worship.  This event began in 1990 in the United States.

“See You at the Pole” will be a combined chapel for MVCS on Wednesday, September 25th at 9:00 a.m.  If it does not rain, we will pray at the flagpole.  If it rains, it will be in the sanctuary.

PROGRESS REPORTS – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2019

FIRST PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE OF THE YEAR – THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH FROM 4:15 – 7:00 P.M.  You can call for your appointment from now until Thursday, September 26th at noon.  It is very important that you attend these conferences for the academic success of your child.

IF YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND/OR ADDRESS CHANGES,  please contact the office and let us know.  Since we have the new communication system, we will be sending some important messages from time to time and we would not want you to miss them. Thank you in advance for your attention to this very important matter.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION – AUGUST BOX TOP WINNERS

Keep up the good work of clipping box tops and scanning receipts.

Remember to clip the physical box tops and scan your receipts also.

This will give us double points.  If you scan your receipts,

please remember to write your child’s name and

number of box tops scanned for them to receive

credit at school.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS REGARDING SAFETY:  Please remember to drive very slowly when entering and exiting the school parking lot. Please do not park beside the walkway at the entrance of the school.  Following these safety rules will help to assure safe arrivals and dismissals.

During morning arrival, the safety of our students is of utmost importance. Two teachers will be on duty in the fellowship hall beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Please do not disturb these teachers during that time as they are focusing on the students and their needs.  If you need to speak with a teacher, please go to the office or call the office to schedule an appointment.

Please be reminded that according to WV State Law, no weapon of any kind is permitted on school property.
