GIRLS: NO TIGHT CLOTHES, NO LOW-CUT CLOTHING, NO SEE-THROUGH CLOTHING, NO UNCHRISTIAN, RACIAL, VULGAR, ANTI-SEMITIC ITEMS (OR IN ANY WAY UNACCEPTABLE TO THE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL SETTING).
SLACKS: Dress Pants, Casual Style Dress Pants (like Dockers), Cargo Pants (with pockets on legs), Jeans (must be neat and solid color with NO HOLES, FRINGES, OR PATCHES. Capris (to the knee or below). Pants and Capris must fit and be worn at the waist. NO baggy, extra long, low-waist, or sloppy style pants or capris (with holes, designs, etc.) No sweat pants, sweat suits, wind suits, shorts, skorts, Yoga Pants, or JEGGINGS/LEGGINGS WORN AS PANTS.
DRESSES: Dresses, suits, jumpers, skirts, and culottes MUST be to the knee. IF JEGGINGS/LEGGINGS ARE WORN, THE DRESS OR SKIRT MUST STILL BE TO THE KNEE.
SHIRTS: Polo Shirts, Blouses or T-Shirts. No sleeveless dresses, shirts, or blouses. No off-the-shoulder sweaters, shirts, or blouses. No tank tops. No shirts/blouses that expose the midriff or lower back. Sweaters, sweater vests, and plain sweatshirts are acceptable.
NO CAMOUFLAGE CLOTHING FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE.
SHOES: Casual shoes, dress shoes, or athletic shoes. (Athletic shoes are to have non-marring soles.) Girls must wear socks, tights, footies, or hose with all shoes. Shoes with laces must be laced and tied. Boots and shoes are to have 1 inch or less heel. The following examples of unsafe shoes are NOT PERMITTED: Sandals, flip-flops, open-toed, closed toe/but open heel.
HAIR: Girls’ hair shall be styled in a clean, neat manner. Bangs must not be below eyebrows. No rattails, designs shaved into the hair, unnatural faddish hair dyeing, etc.
JEWELRY: Jewelry should be kept at a minimum for safety reasons. No excessive or gaudy jewelry. (This includes no black nail polish and/or black lipstick.) No tattoos or body piercing (nose rings, lip rings, etc.)
HATS: Hats are not to be worn inside of the building at MVCS, including the gym.

NO RATTAILS,, DESIGNS SHAVED INTO THE HAIR, UNNATURAL FADDISH HAIR DYEING, MOHAWKS, ETC. Boys wearing mustaches, beards, or goatees must keep them neatly trimmed at all times.. If not wearing what were just listed, boys shall be clean-shaven. Sideburns are not to be worn below the ear.
