NO SCHOOL – Monday, September 7, 2026 in observance of Labor Day.
ELEMENTARY CHAPEL: Wednesday, September 2nd at 9 a.m. The third grade will be leading the service with prayers and memorization. Mrs. Pennington will be the speaker. REMINDER: No jeans, shorts, or t-shirts on chapel days.

We are very thankful to the Lord for sending us these teachers to help us to continue the work He has for us to fulfill. Our faculty not only helps by giving our students excellent academic training, but also direction in building a successful Christian life.

The Fall Festival has always proven to be a very exciting and fun time for children and adults of all ages! Detailed information will be in an upcoming newsletter. We are getting ready for a great time of autumn celebration with our students and their families!
MVCS T-SHIRT ORDER FORMS: T-Shirt order forms are due by Monday, August 31s. The cost of T-shirt is $13.00 and sweatshirt is $25.00. If you need an order form, you can contact your child’s teacher or the office.
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please remember that any time your child is absent, comes to school tardy, and/or leaves early: when they return to school they must bring a note stating the reason for absence, tardy, or early dismissal. The notes can be from a parent and/or guardian, and must be dated and signed so we can place in your child’s file. If they had a doctor’s appointment, etc., you can get an excuse from doctor.
Remember that 5 unexcused tardies and/or 5 unexcused early dismissals equals one unexcused absence. Your child (PK-6th grades) can bring a note to Mrs. Calvert in the office. If your child is in 7th through 12th grades, the notes can be given to Mrs. Elder in her office downstairs. Thank you for your attention concerning these matters.
IMPORTANT DISMISSAL INFORMATION: In order to keep the parking lot accessible to visitors, and/or first responders, we are asking everyone that is coming to pick up your child in the afternoon to not arrive on the lot until 3:20 p.m. This ensures the entrance to the school is blocked as little as possible.
EXTENDED CARE CHARGES: The first statement for extended care charges will be sent home the first few days of September. This will reflect the time your child spent in extended care for the month of August. These charges will be due on September 10th.
