We would like to thank all of the grandparents for attending our special chapel service and for the preschooler’s grandparents attending the breakfast that was provided. You enrich the lives of everyone you touch on a daily basis by the wisdom and love you share. Thank you again!
ELEMENTARY CHAPEL – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH – 9 A.M. – The first grade will lead with prayers and memorization. Adeline Cantley, one of our own 7th graders, will be the special speaker. Reminder: Please wear chapel clothes. No jeans, t-shirts, or shorts.

FIRST PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE OF THE YEAR – TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH FROM 4:15 – 7:00 P.M. – You can begin calling to schedule your appointment on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. It is very important that you attend these conferences for the academic success of your children. The deadline for scheduling will be Tuesday, September 29th at noon.
PIZZA FRIDAYS! You will have the opportunity for your child to have a pizza lunch on Fridays, beginning Friday, September 18th. The combo will cost $5.00 and will include a slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza, chips, and a cookie. Extra slices of pizza will be available for $2 each.

LOOKING BACK ON 9/11 – FAITH MEMORY AND HOPE 25 YEARS LATER
Christianity teaches that death and destruction do not have the final word. Jesus’ resurrection is the foundation of Christian hope. Christians believe that even though death is real and grief is painful, death is not the end. God promises a future in which suffering, mourning, and death will ultimately be overcome.
Twenty-five years after the attacks, we remember those who died, those who survived, those who served, and the families who continue to carry a burden of loss.
We remember the darkness, but we also remember the light that appeared within it.
