ELEMENTARY CONVOCATION – WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15 – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17 – 9 A.M. Elementary students need to dress for chapel on Wednesday and Thursday.
Students in K-3 through 6th grades who wish to participate in the costume contest must wear their costumes to school on Friday, October 17th. If your child wants to change after the judging, please send the proper school attire. The only costumes that will be considered for competition will be students dressed in Biblical or God’s Creation costumes. NO COSTUMES OF SATAN ALLOWED. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD IN COSTUMES OTHER THAN THOSE MENTIONED.
The judging will take place during the chapel that is scheduled for Friday, October 17th at 9:00 a.m.
SECONDARY CONVOCATION – The normal chapel service for secondary students will be on Tuesday, October 14th beginning at 9 a.m. Students need to dress for chapel on this day.
Convocation services will be Wednesday, October 15th – Friday, October 17th at 9 a.m.
The Friday, October 17th service will be a combined chapel with the elementary where the “Parade of Biblical and God’s Creations” costumes will take place.
Bishop Sam Calloway will be the speaker for the Secondary services on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Parents are welcome to attend all services.
Please keep the Elementary and Secondary Convocations in your prayers as these services have been life-changing experiences in the lives of many of our students.
COOKIE DOUGH, COFFEE, AND POPCORN SALE ORDERS WERE DUE BACK TODAY, OCTOBER 10TH. We hope you did a great job with the sale and have gotten lots of orders.
If you forget to bring your order today, we will take it first thing Monday morning, October 13th by 8:30 a.m.
SCHOOL PICTURES – Cardinal Photographics will be at our school on Friday, October 24th to take the fall individual pictures and classroom group pictures. If you wish to order a classroom picture, they are $15.00 each, and you will receive an envelope in which to place your payment. Send the envelope with the amount due enclosed on October 24th. Checks are to be made payable to Cardinal Photographics. Orders for this picture will not be accepted at a later date.
You DO NOT need to repay for your child’s individual portrait package. You will receive a proof shortly after the pictures are made from which to order.

TUITION REMINDER – October tuition was due on October 10th. Late fees will be added to accounts after October 15th.
SWEATERS AND/OR JACKETS – Since the weather is getting cooler now, we would like to ask you to send a sweater or jacket to school with your child in case they would need to go outside for a fire drill, etc.
FALL FESTIVAL 2025
The Fall Festival is scheduled for next Friday, October 17, 2025, from 6 – 8 p.m. in the gym.
FOLLOWING IS SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS DAY:
- School will be dismissed at noon on October 17th in order for us to prepare for the Fall Festival.
- No lunch on this day.
- Afternoon extended care will not be available.
- Please make arrangements for your child/children to be picked up by noon on this day.
ADMISSION TO THE FALL FESTIVAL will be one can of non-perishable food per family. Please make sure the date on the can is not expired. These items will be donated to a worthy cause.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE FALL FESTIVAL – We are in need of parent volunteers to work a 30-minute shift at a game the night of the Fall Festival. The more parents that volunteer, the more games we can have. Please send your child’s teacher a note with the name of who can volunteer in your family.
ITEMS NEEDED FOR THE FESTIVAL – Baked goods, new items and craft items for the Country Store.
THE COUNTRY STORE is in need of baked goods (cakes, pies, candy, breads, popcorn balls, etc.) and homemade arts and craft items. (If you make baked goods, be sure to attach a list of ingredients for allergy purposes and put a price you would like the items sold for.) The art and craft items also need to be priced before bringing them to school.
*Please bring your fresh baked items to the school gym on Friday, October 17th after noon.
HAVE DINNER WITH US AT THE FESTIVAL – Plan to bring your family! We will have BBQ’s, pizza, hot dogs, and nachos.
CLASS PROJECTS TO BE AUCTIONED AT FALL FESTIVAL! Each class from Pre-School through 6th grade will be making a class project that will be auctioned off at the Fall Festival. Be there to bid on the class project that your child or grandchild had a hand in making! The project this year will be wooden plank porch signs.
CANDY NEEDED – K-3 through 12th grade students are asked to bring one bag of individually wrapped candy (no suckers, gum, candy with witches, ghosts, body parts, or any other gory candy please.) We would appreciate it if you would send the candy to your child’s teacher by October 13th so we have plenty of time to fill the treat bags that will be distributed during the Fall Festival.
A FALL FESTIVAL FAVORITE! You can make a fall bracelet or color a super hero mask for $2.00 each.
PRE-PAID PASS INFORMATION: Pre-paid passes for the Fall Festival games are available for a cost of $8.00 each. This pass entitles your child to play all the games at the Festival as many times as they want and bounce in the bounce house a total of 6 times for the night. These passes may be purchased from your child’s classroom teacher beginning Monday, October 12th. THESE PASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT THE FALL FESTIVAL ALSO.
The game passes cannot be used at the school club sponsored tables.
