Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;

but we will remember the Name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK: We would like to recognize and appreciate our teachers the week of May 4-8, 2026. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to express their thanks and heart-felt gratitude to our wonderful teachers. We have a faculty that works hard and are very dedicated to the ministry of Mountain View Christian School.

Please always pray for the teachers and staff at Mountain View Christian School. They go far beyond the call of duty as instructors, mentors, and advisors. While most Americans spend their lives building careers, our teachers spend their careers building lives that will please and be most beneficial to the Lord. We are very thankful for the faculty that God has blessed us with this year.

“Teachers can change lives with just the right mix of chalk and challenges.”

Joyce Meyer

REGISTRATION CONTINUES AT MVCS FOR 2026-2027

Please continue to send your completed enrollment packets, along with the $150.00 enrollment fee to the office.

In order for us to make decisions concerning the schedule for next year, we need to know what your intentions are. Thank you in advance for your attention concerning this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the office.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER – THURSDAY, MAY 7 – 9 A.M. – The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May inviting people to pray for the nation. Because of the faith of many of our founding fathers, public prayer and national days of prayer have a long standing and significant history in American tradition.

This will be a combined chapel with the entire student body.

SECONDARY AWARDS CEREMONY – MAY 13TH AT 1 P.M. Secondary parents are invited to stay for the Baccalaureate Service which begins at 2 p.m.

BACCALAUREATE – MAY 13 – 2 P.M. – Mrs. Brenda Allen will be speaking at this very moving and inspiring service. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

SENIOR GRADUATION – Two Mountain View seniors will graduate on Friday evening, May 15, 2026, at 6 p.m. The Mountain View Class of 2026 is as follows:

ARIANA ALLENE GILLISPIE – CO-SALUTATORIAN

SOMER ROSE HAMRICK, CO-SALUTATORIAN

CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE STUDENTS ON A JOB WELL DONE!

Plan now to attend this service and pray for these students as they embark on one of the greatest adventures of their lives. We are so proud of each of them. They have worked very hard to attain their goals. Mr. C. J. Ball will be speaking at the Commencement.

EXTENDED CARE: For students who utilize the extended care, you will receive your final statement on or about May 15, 2026. These and any other outstanding extended care charges will be due upon receipt so that we can close out the books for the end of the year. ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE THE FINAL REPORT CARD WILL BE SENT AND/OR ANY RECORDS RELEASED.

ELEMENTARY FIELD DAY – Instead of the elementary classes having individual field trips this year, we will be having an Elementary Field Day at school on May 8th. We will be having a picnic style lunch and serving hot dogs. We will have a variety of activities, and the Aurora Ice Truck will be here for a special treat!

Students should wear the t-shirts that they tye-dyed at school to the Elementary Field Day.

YARD SIGNS: We have several yard signs available advertising Mountain View Christian School. If you would be willing to place one in your yard to advertise our school, contact the office.

TUITION AND EXTENDED CARE REMINDER FROM THE OFFICE – Please take care of any outstanding balances that are due on your child’s account. All accounts must be paid in FULL before the final report card will be sent and/or any records released. Contact Mrs. Calvert if you have any questions.
