Thursday, April 2nd – Speaker Bishop Calloway – First Grade Prayers and Memorization
Each service begins at 9:00 a.m.
Students must dress for Convocation Tuesday and Thursday. Please be in prayer with us for this special three days at MVCS. This is a great time of worship and honor to the Lord. Many lives have been changed forever during these services through the years.
RE-ENROLLMENT TIME AT MOUNTAIN VIEW CHRISTIAN SCHOOL – BEGINNING FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2026
HOPE SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS: The completed packet, along with the re-enrollment fee of $150.00 needs to be returned to MVCS by Friday, April 10, 2026. After that date, new student enrollment begins, and some classes may be filled.
STUDENTS NOT APPLYING FOR HOPE SCHOLARSHIP will be required to pay the $150.00 re-enrollment fee and the book fee at the time of enrollment.
The application will also include a booklist for your child’s upcoming grade if they are going into Preschool – 8th grades. The booklist for students in grades 9-12 will be available at a later date.
The booklist must be returned to the school office by May 1st in order to us to make sure your books are ordered. If you are interested in used books for the coming year, please call the school to speak to Mrs. Calvert as soon as possible to be placed on the “used book list.”
All accounts must be brought up-to-date before re-enrolling your child. If your account is in arrears, please contact the office and speak to Mrs. Calvert.
HOPE SCHOLARSHIP: PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT JUNE 15, 2026 IS THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT A RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR 2026-2027 AND THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT A NEW APPLICATION FOR 100% SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING FOR 2026-2027. IF YOU WERE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE HOPE SCHOLARSHIP LAST YEAR, THIS YEAR ALL STUDENTS FROM K-5 THROUGH 12TH GRADE ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. THE HOPE SCHOLARSHIP IS NOT INCOME BASED. SPRING FLOWER FUNDRAISER! What a great fundraiser this was! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We sold 803 items! The sales totaled $15,372! Our profit was $6,473.00. The delivery date for all these beautiful flowers and vegetables is May 6th.
Our first place winner was Corbin Milam – 3rd Grade – 69 Orders – He received $200.00 in cash.
Our second place winner was Blaire Riffe – 2nd Grade – 51 orders – She received $100.00 in cash.
The class winner was Kindergarten. This class had 216 orders and brought in $4,104.00! They will be enjoying a pizza party and extra play time for their efforts very soon!
EASTER BREAK – APRIL 3-6 – SCHOOL RESUMES APRIL 7, 2026
CARDINAL PHOTOGRAPHICS – SPRING PICTURE DAY IS COMING!
On April 10th, they will be taking spring individual pictures, sports pictures, and club pictures. You do not need to prepay for portrait packages. You will receive a proof in the coming weeks from which to order. You will receive an envelope next week in which to order sports pictures.
TERRA NOVA TESTING – APRIL 13-17 – During this week parents are encouraged to prepare their children by making sure they have plenty of rest and a nourishing breakfast.
