SCHOOL RESUMES ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 2ND
CONGRATULATIONS to the Preschool students who presented their Christmas program, the elementary students who participated in “Good News Ahead,” and the wonderful performance by the MVCS Choir. All three of these groups did a fantastic job! What an inspiration to each and everyone who saw them and a wonderful way to begin our Christmas break.
A special thank you goes to Mrs. Lana Calloway who worked diligently with the elementary students and the choir in teaching them that it is not just a performance, it is done in honor and worship to our Lord.
The Faculty and Staff of Mountain View Christian School would like to thank you for all the wonderful gifts, encouraging words, and beautiful cards we have received this Christmas season! We are very thankful for all of you!
ELEMENTARY CHAPEL – WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3RD AT 9 A.M. – The sixth grade class will be leading the chapel with prayers and memorization. Mrs. Murray will be the speaker. Reminder: No jeans, T-shirts or shorts are to be worn on chapel days.
MOUNTAIN VIEW CHRISTIAN SCHOOL AT THE COUNTY SPELLING BEE:
Out of 19 participants in the County Spelling Bee, Alayna Murphy in 7th grade placed 4th, and Kaiden Watson in 7th grade placed 5th. CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE TWO STUDENTS! WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU!
FUNDRAISER FOR THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT AT MVCS:
The Athletic Department will be having a fundraiser held at El Bandido Mexican Restaurant. The fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 5 – 10 p.m. A percentage of the food sales will be donated to the MVCS Athletic Department. Please support by having dinner at El Bandido Mexican Restaurant.
