ELEMENTARY CHAPEL: There will be no elementary chapel next week due to Terra Nova testing.

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION DATE CHANGED: The date for Kindergarten Graduation has been changed. The Graduation will now be on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.

Also, the last day for Kindergarten class will be Wednesday, May 15, 2024. They will be having their end of the year Graduation Party on this day.

PROGRESS REPORTS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON MONDAY, APRIL 22, 2024.

TERRA NOVA TESTING – APRIL 22-26, 2024 – During this week parents should prepare their children by making sure they have plenty of rest and a nourishing breakfast.

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” Colossians 3:23

BREAKFAST AVAILABLE DURING TERRA NOVA TESTING WEEK – If your child pre-ordered, their breakfast will be served in the lunchroom from 7:45 – 8:10 a.m. on Monday, April 22nd through Thursday, April 25th. Students who purchase breakfast will not be charged for morning extended care.

CELEBRATE THE END OF TERRA NOVA TESTING WITH A MOVIE DAY: The National Honor Society will be hosting a movie day again this year celebrating the end of Terra Nova testing on April 26, 2024.

MVCS YEARBOOKS – Place your order now for our next yearbook. You won’t want to miss all the exciting pictures and memories that are included in it. The cost for the yearbook is $27.00 each. Orders are due by April 29, 2024. If you write a check, make it payable to Cardinal Photographics. Also, if you would like to place an ad in the yearbook, call the office and leave a message for Mrs. Conelly.

EXTENDED CARE: For students who utilize this service, you will receive your final statement on or about May 10, 2024. These and any other extended care charges that have not been paid will be due upon receipt so that we can close out the books for the end of the year.

BOOKS FOR 2024-2025 MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY MAY 13, 2024. BOOKS WILL NOT BE ORDERED UNTIL PAID.

EARLY DISMISSALS – According to our Student Handbook, if your child is dismissed early from school for any reason (doctor appointments, sickness, etc.) when they return the next day they should bring a note stating the reason for early dismissal in order for us to determine excused or unexcused. Five unexcused dismissals equal one unexcused absence.
