NO SCHOOL TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2025 – VETERAN’S DAY
VETERAN’S DAY CHAPEL – Thursday, November 13th at 9:00 a.m. – There will be a special Veteran’s Day chapel service for our elementary and secondary students combined on this date. Pastor Mike Meadows, pastor of the Oak Hill Brethren Church will be the speaker. Pastor Meadows served in the Air Force for 21 years.
All our families and Veteran’s are invited to attend. The fourth grade class will lead the service with prayers and memorization. Reminder: No jeans, t-shirts, or shorts are to be worn on chapel days.
THANKSGIVING CHAPEL – Thursday, November 19th at 9:00 a.m. – Each class will be doing something special. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
PIZZA LUNCH: You will have an opportunity for your child to have a pizza lunch on Friday, November 14th. The combo will cost $5.00, and it will include a slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza, chips, and a cookie. Extra slices of pizza will be available for $2.00 each. The order form is attached to this newsletter. Order form, along with amount due, must be returned to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, November 12th.

IMPORTANT THANKSGIVING BREAK INFORMATION: The school calendar states that for our Thanksgiving break, we would be in school all day on Monday, November 24th and would be dismissed at noon on Tuesday, November 25th. THIS SCHEDULE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO “REMOTE INSTRUCTION.” No one will be at school on these two days.
Students in every grade will receive a packet of work to be completed for those two days. Your child will be responsible for the work to have been completed when we return to school on Monday, December 1st.
