ELEMENTARY CHAPEL – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH – 9 A.M. The first grade class will be leading the service with prayers and memorization. Reminder: No jeans, t-shirts, or shorts are to be worn on chapel days.

REMINDER – Elementary gym days are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wear your tennis shoes to school on these days.

DISMISSAL INFORMATION: You must have your placard displayed in your car or you will be asked to park to have your ID checked. This is for the safety of your children. Thank you for your attention.

CHESS CLUB: Some of our secondary students are interested in starting a chess club. If anyone would be interested in being a chess advisor after school, please contact the school office.

FIRST PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE OF THE YEAR – THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH FROM 4:15 UNTIL 7:00 P.M. You may call the office beginning Thursday, September 18th to schedule your appointment. It is very important that you attend these conferences for the academic success of your children. The deadline for scheduling your appointment will be Thursday, September 25th at noon.

The Fall Festival has always proven to be a very exciting and fun time for children and adults of all ages! Detailed information will be in an upcoming newsletter. We are getting ready for a great time of autumn celebration with our students and their families.

ATHLETIC NEWS – Lucas Floyd, one of our sixth grade students, placed 15th in the Oak Hill Cross Country Meet with a time of 14:00.90. Jeremiah Gilkerson, 6th grade and Braysen Sydnor, 7th grade, both ran personal bests as well. Congratulations to all these students! We are very proud of you!
