NO SCHOOL MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2024 – VETERAN’S DAY

SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR VETERAN’S DAY SPEAKER, Pastor David Altizer. We never want to forget how blessed we are to have our veterans who have fought and are still fighting for our freedom.

ELEMENTARY CHAPEL – WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH – 9:00 A.M. The Kindergarten class will be leading the service with prayers and memorization. No jeans, t-shirts, or shorts are to be worn on chapel days.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE – The Plateau Ministerial Association Food Pantry, in conjunction with New River Intermediate School, has invited our school to participate in collecting food items for the pantry. They have asked our school to bring 5 pound bags of potatoes. You can bring the potatoes to school beginning November 12th, 13th, and 14th between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thank you for helping us to provide a Thanksgiving meal to others.

IMPORTANT THANKSGIVING INFORMATION: The School Calendar states for our Thanksgiving break we would be in school all day on Monday, November 25th and would be dismissed at noon on Tuesday, November 26th. This schedule has been changed to “remote instruction.” No one will be at school on these two days.

Students in every grade will receive a packet of work to be completed. Your child will be responsible to have completed the work when we return to school on Monday, December 2nd.
