THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE – The Fayette Plateau Ministerial Association Food Pantry in conjunction with New River Intermediate School have invited our school to participate in collecting food items for their Thanksgiving Food Pantry.
They have asked our school to bring 5 pound bags of potatoes. You can bring your bag of potatoes to school beginning November 12th, 13th, and 14th between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thank you for helping to provide a Thanksgiving meal for others.
IMPORTANT THANKSGIVING BREAK INFORMATION: The School calendar states that Thanksgiving break we would be in school all day on Monday, November 25th and would be dismissed at noon on Tuesday, November 26th. This schedule has been changed to “Remote Instruction.” No one will be at school on these two days.
Students in every grade will receive a packet of work to be completed. Your child will be responsible for the work to be completed when we return to school on Monday, December 2nd.
RADA CUTLERY: You should have received a Rada Cutlery catalog sent home with your child today. This is not a contest. We just have several people to ask us if we would be selling this again because they like the product so much.
If you or anyone you know would like to place an order, please complete the order form and return it, along with the amount due, by Monday, November 4th. We should have the orders back with a couple of weeks just in time for Christmas.
These items make wonderful gifts! We hope you see some things you need or would like to have. Several items are on sale!
