FALL CONVOCATION – OCTOBER 18-20: The elementary services (preschool through grade 6) will begin at 9:00 a.m. for each service. Friday, October 20th, will be the Fall Festival Costume Parade, with a devotion following the parade.

Secondary Fall Convocation (7th through 12th grades) October 19th and 20th: Services for October 19th will be a Convocation Workshop for our secondary students from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. October 20th will be the Fall Festival Costume Parade and it begins at 9 a.m.

ALL STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW THE CHAPEL DRESS CODE FOR OCTOBER 18TH AND 19TH.

Please keep the Convocation in your prayers, as these services have been life-changing times in the lives of our students.

REPORT CARDS RELEASED – OCTOBER 23, 2023

TUITION PAYMENT REMINDER – October tuition is due on October 10th. Late fees will be added after the 15th. To avoid late fees, please make payment when due.

IMPORTANT THANKSGIVING CHAPEL AND THANKSGIVING BREAK INFORMATION – There will be a special Thanksgiving Chapel on Friday, November 17th. The chapel begins at 10:30. All elementary classes will be doing something special on this day. Also, we will be dismissing at noon on this day, due to teacher training.

The school calendar states that for our Thanksgiving break, we would be in school all day on Monday, November 20th, and would be dismissed at noon on Tuesday, November 21st. The schedule has been changed to “remote instruction” all day on Monday, November 20th and all day Tuesday, November 21st. No one will be at school on these days.

Students in every grade will receive a packet of work to be completed. Your child will be responsible for the work to be completed when we return to school on Monday, November 27th.

4TH PLACE – ELI FAHERTY – GRADE 5

TOP WINNERS WILL REPRESENT OUR SCHOOL AT THE COUNTY BEE. TIME, PLACE, AND NUMBER OF SPELLERS WHO WILL REPRESENT MVCS AT THE BEE WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE.
