REPORT CARDS – OCTOBER 23, 2023
IMPORTANT THANKSGIVING CHAPEL AND THANKSGIVING BREAK INFORMATION: There will be a special Thanksgiving Chapel on Friday, November 17th at 10:30 a.m. All elementary classes will be doing something special. Also, we will be dismissing at noon, due to teacher training.
The school calendar states for our Thanksgiving break, we would be in school all day on Monday, November 20th, and would be dismissed at noon on Tuesday, November 21st; however, this schedule has been changed to Remote Instruction all day on Monday, November 20th, and all day on Tuesday, November 21st. NO ONE WILL BE IN SCHOOL ON THESE DAYS.
Students in every grade will receive a packet of work to be completed. Your child will be responsible for the work to be completed and returned to the school on Monday, November 27th.
JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS! Very soon, you will be receiving an order form and information concerning our fruit fundraiser! This is a great opportunity to have fruit or fruit baskets, gifts, etc. for Christmas. We must have 150 orders in order to place an order. Those who have bought this fruit the last few years have been very pleased.
WEATHER OR UNFORESEEN EMERGENCY REMINDER: In case of inclement weather and/or unforeseen emergencies, you will receive text message from our communication system. You could also listen to the following radio and/or TV stations to receive information. PLEASE MAKE SURE WE HAVE YOUR UP-TO-DATE TELEPHONE NUMBERS IN CASE WE WOULD NEED TO CONTACT YOU DURING THE SCHOOL DAY.

If there would be a problem concerning ONLY Mountain View Christian School, (such as water problems, no heat, etc.) you will receive a text message from the school.
PRE-SCHOOL 2-HOUR DELAY REMINDER: If Mountain View has a two-hour delay, the 3 year olds, who are half day students will have class from 10:30 – 12 noon, instead of the regular 8:30 – noon schedule. FULL DAY K-4 STUDENTS WILL HAVE CLASS BEGINNING AT 10:30 A.M. AND ENDING AT 2:30 P.M. AS USUAL.
